I started in the green industry in 1980. I look back at the years and the trees I've worked with, over those years, and have to smile at how the trees have been teaching me. They can't tell us to leave them alone, or run from us, so trees have to tolerate our efforts to help them and work on them. The ISA industry has evolved their thinking to the same conclusion; we have to pay attention to what the tree is trying to do for itself, and help it with that process, to do the job right.


This has been a major change in attitude which the old school tree hackers don't like. A tree was like a building to them; to cut, paint, and bend the way they wanted. Not what the tree wanted.

True Tree Health Care is a long slow process. Trees do not do anything fast. So if you take care of trees, you have to be patient. With that in mind, the Home Owner usually is not the right candidate for the job. They have an hour to get the job done and they want to do it all that weekend and get it over with. I work for folks as their personal Arborist helping them work with the tree. If this is what you are looking for, I hope to give you the tools to have beautiful healthy trees.
